G Hotel Gurney - George Town

We had an enjoyable stay at the G, benefiting from its strategic location right next to a large shopping mall. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a comfortable experience throughout our visit. Our deluxe executive room was spacious and offered a beautiful sea view, although it's important to note ongoing land reclamation in the area. The private lounge was a nice touch, offering pleasant views and a great selection of snacks in the evenings.

The location was unbeatable and stunning - just a walk down to everywhere we wanted to go. And the area was beach, adjacent to Gurney Paragon where one can easily find food, the popular Bali Hai seafood restaurant, and 2 large malls, gurney paragon and gurney plaza...

Views were not so good.

The room was spacious and comfy, with little treats like free mini bar items. Breakfast had a nice variety, though the fruit selection could use improvement. A few minor hiccups, but overall, a solid experience!

A room was spacious and clean. A Gurney Plaza shopping mall is just beside the hotel.

Not an ideal location for vacation. An air con of the room didn't cool enough. The bed was too hard for my taste (or for my back). The payment was charged incorrectly from my card's debit account instead of credit account.

The modern atmosphere created a pleasant environment, and the extensive multi-national breakfast offered a variety of options that catered to all tastes. the Aircon operated at full speed, though it struggled to keep the room cool, which added a touch of warmth to the experience.

One minor drawback I noticed was that some areas felt a bit too hot, even with the air conditioning set to maximum.

The hotel is really in good location for shopping n find best food around the hotel, amenities inside the room is good. But I hate the services from the front desk staff and the restaurant staffs, very bad and not so polite.

The comtemporary design of the hotel as well as the pool. The pool was beautiful.

I tried to make a print out in the business center and the computer/printer was not working. The front end staff was very helpful in getting someone to check out the problem and printed off what I needed and delivered it to my room.

Loved the spacious room with great views and the nearby shopping mall made everything so convenient.

Appreciated having a large room with large bed and new fittings. The bathroom was also a nice size with a good sized and functional shower. I would return to this hotel and recommend to friends.

Downsides were that there was leaking (from the bathroom?) so the carpet was quite soggy and the buffet breakfast was not great compared to other hotels i have stayed in Malaysia.

So bad for the hotel staff to handle what had been complained by visitor. I think they must be try to manage back the hotel management in giving services for hotel facilities.

Amazing, and we loved the spacious layout. The gym facilities were excellent too. The breakfast service could be improved as there were a few items that ran out quickly during peak hours.

The generous complimentary mini bar was a good surprise, and the staff's willingness to provide a wheelchair for my elderly mum made our stay nice.

Big comfy rooms, nice designs, very close to Gurney drive - good food is just a stone's throw away

Hotel staff are unfriendly,.. Got my booking mixed up. Hotel serves complimentary ice cream on trays but if u take the trays over to the waiting area while your friends wait while you check in, front desks rudely tells you off that he needs the tray back.
